Our Vision

Worship
Our worship will combine the rich Anglican heritage with the present movement of the Holy Spirit. In response to God's giving of His best, we commit to returning excellence in our service to Him.
Authority
We recognize the authority and application of scripture as the standard for living. Seeking the mind of Christ, we value consensus in decisions.
Ministry
We will seek, serve and disciple children, youth, and adults because they are of equal value to God. Believers will minister out of their God-given gifts and passions.
Mission
We are devoted to reaching the lost and broken with the care and love of Christ. We rely on the transforming power of the Holy Spirit to change lives.

Our History

Faith Church began as a mission church in March of 1996. The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, Christ Church - Plano and the North American Missionary Society formed a partnership to begin this new mission. A search of church planter candidates concluded that Rev. John and Nancy Clifford were called to be the church planters of this Allen mission. Christ Episcopal Church provided the start-up families and a place to begin the process of forming a church.

The Dallas Diocese contributed $200,000 spread over the first three years, to help defray start-up costs and the North American Missionary Society contributed in the areas of supervision and vision casting.

"The Mission Church" moved its services to the Allen area in August 1996. Christ the Servant Lutheran Church was very gracious in allowing "The Mission Church" to use its facilities on Saturday nights for both worship and Christian education. Soon after the move to Allen, the Dallas Diocese gave us our official name of Faith Church.

As Saturday nights did not prove to be the best time to build a church family, Faith began to look at other facilities for Sunday worship. Beginning in 1997, Faith Church was allowed to use Boyd Elementary School in Allen for both worship and Christian Education. Due to renovations planned at Boyd in 1998, Faith moved to Norton Elementary School until construction of it's permanent home at Alma and McDermott in Allen was completed in April 2000.
