Worship Service

Traditional Contemporary Sunday Morning

Our unique worship style blends the best elements of traditional Eucharist with meaningful contemporary flair. We follow the Rite II Liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer, and flow easily between classic hymns and choral arrangements into modern praise band pieces. Our younger children enjoy their own special worship experience, "Children's Chapel," during a portion of the regular worship time. Attire: We're much more interested in you than your clothes. Please wear what makes you comfortable.

About Communion

All baptized Christians, regardless of denomination or age are welcome to receive Communion at Faith Church. Join us at the altar rail, kneel, and place one hand open atop the other. Fr. John will place the bread or wafer in your hand. You may eat it immediately, or wait for the chalice bearer.

When the chalice bearer comes, you may hold the wafer and dip it into the chalice, or sip directly from the chalice. When sipping, please grasp the base of the cup lightly and guide it to your lips.

If you prefer to just receive a blessing instead of the elements, kneel at the altar rail, cross your arms across your chest, and Fr. John will pronounce a brief blessing for you.

Nursery:
Though welcome in our service, your toddlers and infants may enjoy our comfortable nursery which is open during all services and Christian Education classes. If you are concerned about a fussy infant (we aren't!), please take advantage of our "Cry Room" where you can still hear and see the service.
